Thomas Ender (1793–1875) was an Austrian artist known for his detailed landscapes and watercolor paintings. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and gained recognition for his work during a trip to Brazil as part of an Austrian expedition in 1817, where he produced numerous sketches and watercolors depicting the local scenery and culture. Ender's ability to capture the essence of the landscapes he encountered made him a prominent figure in Austrian art. Throughout his career, he continued to travel and paint, leaving behind a rich legacy of artworks that are still admired today.
