Fine 17th-century sea chart of West Africa, including from the Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Cote d'Ivoire coastlines. The map shows important coastal information that would have been of use to early captains navigating the waters of West Africa.

The map includes toponyms, depths soundings, and more. Regions are named and one coastal profile is shown. Decorative elements include ships, a compass rose, and three cartouches.

The map was published by Johannes Van Keulen. This is a later state of the map, with "Aldus vertoont En Streckt de Kust..." added in a cartouche in the lower right.
