DESCRIPTION:
Portrait of Edward Somerset - English aristocrat, 2nd Marquess of Worcester, 6th Earl of Worcester and 8th Baron Herbert from 1646. He participated in the civil war on the side of the royalists, because of which he spent several years imprisoned in the Tower. He was an inventor and published in 1655 the book "The Age of Invention". ( 1601 - 1667)
