DESCRIPTION:
Antique etching print "Volunteer Hunters" by Wilhelm Woernle after Robert Haug, 1892. Hunters - Volunteers - were members of the hunting squads formed in Prussia in 1813, who took part in the liberation wars as part of the line troops in uniforms obtained by themselves. Similar units were in Bavaria, Mecklenburg, Kurgessen and other lands of Germany.
