Rare hand-colored regional map titled "Estats de la Couronne de Suede dans la Scandinavie, ou Sont Suede, Gotlande, Lapponie Suedoise, Finlande, Ingrie et Livonie Subdivisées en leurs Provinces", showing Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics. published by Chez Pierre Mariette in Paris, 1668.
The map is from a collection of maps made especially for King Louis XIV, which were drawn by Nicolas Sanson who was Louis XIV's most famous cartographer.
