DESCRIPTION:
This is a superb color lithograph on woven paper. It was made by Valerio Adami from the folder "Die Kunst Der Graphik" and published in 1982 in Italy.
Lithography is a graphic process based on the principle of water and oil repulsion. Valerio Adami is famous for his style, in which he combines elements of pop art and abstract art.
The lithograph "Figurines" depicts a variety of figures presented in symbolic and stylized form. Adami is known for his way of deforming and simplifying shapes, creating geometric and sharp contours. He plays with color and uses bright, rich tones to express strength and dynamism. Valerio Adami's figurines allow the viewer to independently interpret the symbolism and concepts they carry. This is a characteristic feature of his work, which leaves room for different interpretations and impressions for each observer. This lithograph represents a unique style and identity in the world of art.
Valerio Adami is an Italian artist and graphic artist, born on March 17, 1935 in Bologna, Italy. He is known for his unique style, incorporating elements of pop art and surrealism. He is also known for his interest in topics of politics and social justice, which is sometimes reflected in his works. Adami experimented with various genres, including painting, graphics, illustration, and mosaic work. His work is often associated with the theater, and he himself participated in the design of sets and costumes for theatrical productions. The artist has received many awards and recognitions during his career, and his works are in the collections of many museums and galleries around the world. Valerio Adami continues to actively create and contribute to contemporary art.
