DESCRIPTION:
Portrait of Boguslavsky, Albrecht Vojtech (1834 - 1905), Polish playwright and actor, founder of the Polish National Theatre, born in 1760, was the director of theaters in Grodno, Vilna, Dubno and Lemberg, and since 1790 - the Warsaw National Theater, which, under he achieved high prosperity, although Boguslavsky was forced to quit his business several times due to the political events of that time. In 1811 he founded the first drama school in Poland. In 1814 he left the theater in order to devote himself exclusively to literature. Between the plays of Boguslavsky, the melodrama "Miracle" is considered the best. His works were published in 1820-23. 12 thousand (60 plays, but mostly translated ones).
